You need somewhere to work, and a portable workbench is a great start.
This project was designed to be assembled with glue, a screwdriver (to attach the vice), and an optional set of clamps.
For this project, clamps are used to apply pressure during the glue-up, but they can be substituted with simple weights like books, bricks, tape, or a rope. If you cannot yet afford to invest in more expensive clamps, consider the LZW Panel Clamps, which are PERFECT for this project.
